I got this super chocolate sheet cake recipe from a nice lady at a credit union in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I think it is very easy and I've made this chocolate sheet cake many times. It is a real crowd pleaser and of all the chocolate sheet cake with chocolate icing recipes I've seen, this is the best. 2 cups of flour Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl combine the flour, granulated sugar, cinnamon and baking soda. Set aside. Bring to boil in a sauce pan, 2 sticks of margarine, the cup of water and 4 tablesppons of cocoa. Pour the hot sauce pan mixture over the flour mixture and stir. Add 1/2 cup of buttermilk, two eggs and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Pour the chocolate sheet cake mixture onto a greased sheet pan and level it out. Cook at 350° for about 20 minutes. For the icing, bring to a boil 1 stick of margarine, 6 tablespoons of buttermilk and 4 tablespoons of cocoa. Once boiling, add the box of powdered sugar and 1 tablespoon of vanilla. Pour the icing over the cake when the cake is cooled and the icing is still hot. You can add pecans to the icing while it is still warm. And for a real treat, add some well drained and pitted cherries to the cake mixture before baking.
